Ivo is an AI contract review platform for in-house legal departments. Its core product, Ivo Review, runs as a Microsoft Word add-in and applies a company's playbook at the clause level using a multi-agent architecture: specialized agents handle different clause types, and the system resolves them into one recommendation per issue with a concrete redline, rather than surfacing dozens of conflicting flags. Ivo Assistant handles drafting, research, and cross-contract Q&A, and Ivo Intelligence turns an existing contract library into queryable analytics.

Ivo works alongside contract lifecycle management systems rather than replacing them, and connects to Salesforce, SharePoint, Google Drive, OneDrive, and Dropbox, with Google Docs and PDF review supported in addition to Word.

The company was founded in 2022 as Latch by Min-Kyu Jung, Serge Thompson, and Jacob Duligall, rebranded to Ivo in 2024 (after Ivo of Kermartin, the patron saint of lawyers), and is based in San Francisco. It has raised $75M total — a $4.8M seed in April 2024, a $16M Series A in February 2025, and a $55M Series B in January 2026 — and reports 150+ enterprise legal teams as customers, including Uber, Shopify, IBM, Atlassian, Canva, Reddit, and Pinterest.

Ivo states that it does not train AI models on customer contract data, and reports SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001:2022 certification with GDPR and CCPA compliance, SSO, RBAC, and encryption in transit and at rest. It does not disclose which foundation models power the agents.
